Senior High Academic & Fine Arts Competition

2008 AACS Academic and Fine Arts Competition

The top winners in each high school academic and fine arts category were eligible to attend the AACS Academic and Fine Arts Competition at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. This event was held from April 8-10. Thousands of students from across the country gathered together for this time of competition.

This year Wisconsin tied for 9th place in the nation! Our students did very well. Listed are those who placed first, second, or third in the nation.

2007-2008 WACS Senior High Academic and Fine Arts Competition

On Friday, March 7, WACS held its academic and fine arts competition for students in grades 9-12 at Calvary Baptist Christian School in Watertown. This competition provides the students with a great way to develop and display the talents that the Lord has given them. He will use these experiences in positive ways throughout the life of each competitor.

Students received blue (superior), red (excellent), and white (good) ribbons for their performance. Those that received a blue ribbon were also eligible to receive first, second, or third place in their event. The top place winners were also eligible for the national AACS academic and fine arts event at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Listed are the first, second, and third place winners in each category.


Junior High Academic & Fine Arts Competition

2007-2008 WACS Junior High Academic and Fine Arts Competition

On Friday, March 7, WACS held its academic and fine arts competition for students in grades 7-8 at Calvary Baptist Christian School in Watertown. For the first time in many years this event was held in conjunction with the senior high event. This allowed the junior high students to be exposed to the quality of the senior high events and to have a high caliber of judging. The students received blue (superior), red (excellent), and white (good) ribbons for their performance.

For the first time the judges chose a first and second place winner in each category. Listed are the winners of these awards for each event.

This competition provides the students with a great way to develop and display the talents that the Lord has given them. He will use these experiences in positive ways throughout the life of each competitor.
